Lakeland Dickensian Christmas Festival

Enjoy a traditional 1800’s British Yuletide festival and pick up some great bargains and unique Christmas gifts in the beautiful Lakeland town of Ulverston. During the festive season, this wonderfully preserved market town is transformed to appear just as it would have in years gone by.

Townsfolk, shopkeepers, musicians, dancers and entertainers dress in the period style. Traditional decorations adorn the town, stalls are piled high with handmade arts, crafts and delicacies, whilst the aroma of roasting chestnuts, gingerbread and mulled wine fills the air, to make this an unmissable experience.
