Sri Lanka's largest city is full of contrasts, with a number of distinct areas for you to explore. In the central Fort district you can see sights such as the 150 year-old Clock Tower and the Old Parliament House.

To the East, the exciting Pettah bazaar district is crammed with interesting shops and stalls. Away from the hustle and bustle is the city's beautiful seafront - Galle Face Green, and beyond lies the smart Cinnamon Gardens, home to the lovely 30-acre Vihara Maha Devi Park. The National Museum and Art Gallery are alive with culture, whilst the many traditional mosques and temples offer a real insight into Sri Lankan life.
