SeaFrance Ferries
SeaFrance care about your whole experience, from the
moment you check in to the time you disembark.
At a time when airports are becoming increasingly congested, pricing is obscured
by heavy ‘taxes’ and surcharges, and delays are an all-too-common feature of the
beginning and end of your holiday, why not settle for the independence of self drive
travel with Sea France ferries.
Discover the individuality, the freedom, and the fun of taking your
own car, and whoever and whatever you want to take with you. And in contrast
to flying, enjoy the experience of getting there too.
Simply book and turn up at the port, drive onto one of our fleet, and let us
do the work, whilst you relax and enjoy the cruise across the Channel. Your
holiday begins from the moment you step onboard.
SeaFrance was launched with an entirely new concept on 1 January 1996 following the end of the pooling agreement between Sealink and SNAT. In the same year, SeaFrance Ltd. was established responsible for the sales and marketing of the new service in the UK as well as port operations in Dover.
Sea France has extended its sales operation throughout Europe in many countries including Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain and Italy.

The only French ferry operator on the Dover Calais route turned ten years old
on 1 January 2006 celebrating a decade of outstanding quality customer service and an unrivaled reliable cross channel ferries service.
With the launch of its newest superferry, the SeaFrance Berlioz in April 2005, SeaFrance can sail into its anniversary year with the most modern and stylish fleet on the short sea route. The SeaFrance Berlioz has had an incredibly successful first six months of operation and has been widely acclaimed by the industry and consumers alike.
The new SeaFrance Berlioz complements SeaFrance’s other superferry, the award-winning SeaFrance Rodin. Both ships have a capacity of 1,900 passengers and 700 cars and offer a crossing speed of just 70 minutes. In total, SeaFrance operates five ships with 46 crossings a day.
Robin Wilkins, Managing Director at SeaFrance said: “Our modern fleet and unique French onboard experience mean that we have built an impressive following of loyal customers. However we are aware that there are still lots of potential customers out there, who have yet to discover the value and quality that SeaFrance has to offer. Our challenge to them is to come onboard and see for themselves how they can cross the Channel at a low price and experience the outstanding service.”
